What Wonderful European Beef! campaign will be present at FOODEX exhibition in Japan!

PROVACUNO, the Agri-food Inter-professional Organization of the Spanish Beef Industry, will attend FOODEX Exhibition at Tokyo Big Sight (BOOTH 1D700 – Hall 1) with two Michelin starred chefs to keep promoting European Beef from Spain in Japan.

PROVACUNO will participate in FOODEX JAPAN 2023 (7-10 March, venue: Tokyo Big Sight), one of the largest food and beverage exhibitions in Asia. The activity is organized under a campaign supported by the European Union, “What wonderful European Beef!” that aims to promote and increase awareness about European beef from Spain qualities in third countries as Japan.

For this extraordinary new edition of FOODEX JAPAN 2023, PROVACUNO is glad to see the presence on its booth of two Michelin-starred chefs: Iván Cerdeño (2 Michelin stars) and Javier Estévez (one Michelin star). During the exhibition, they will show all the visitors how to prepare succulent recipes made with European beef from Spain, while explaning how unique is this meat due to its versatility and high quality.

The chefs will highlight the taste of European beef from Spain on the occasion of several cookings show (7-10 March) and a workshop with local influencers (10 March).

Other than these two events, PROVACUNO will be also developing the “European Beef from Spain festival” on the 6th of March. The event is addressed to the key players of the Japanese meat industry, who will have the great opportunity to understand the safety and high quality of European beef from Spain in accordance with the European Production Model.

European Production Model (EPM) requires cattle to be free of antibiotics and growth hormones, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability. As such, they will continue to promote this Wonderful Beef in the Japanese market. With a show cooking and beef tasting by the two Michelin-starred chefs, as well as educational talks on EPM during the same event, the Japanese market will be witnessing the high-quality European beef from Spain as well as learn some succulent beef recipes.
