Shortly after the mouthwatering event organized by PROVACUNO within the framework of the Time 4 European Beef at UNA at Alkaff Mansion in April, the organization attended Food & Hotel Asia 2024 at Singapore EXPO from April 23- 26. FHA has evolved into one of the region’s leading and most diverse international food and beverage trade events, offering both exhibitors and attendees an unrivaled opportunity to explore innovations and key trends in global food and beverage. The 2024 edition brought together 1500 exhibitors spread across 70 halls, 70 of which were direct manufacturers from more than 50 countries, with over 60000 attendees.

In the European beef from Spain booth, the visitors had the opportunity of tasting the recipes created by two renowned chefs, Iván Cerdeño, with 2 Michelin stars and Javi Estévez, with one Michelin star. Both chefs prepared a delicious variety of dishes with European beef cuts from Spain, which fair attendees were able to taste while learning about the European production model, the most exigent of the world and which guarantees food safety through traceability, animal welfare and security.

The European production model guarantees high control within the industry by ensuring that there is extensive animal care and control throughout the supply chain, including product traceability and supervision of the animal’s feed – carried out with cereals and ensuring that no hormones nor antibiotics or growth hormones are administered – the European production model also ensures that there is an innate respect for the environment to enhance sustainability. All of these factors together ensure that European beef from Spain remains premium quality, juicy and flavorful, without compromising sustainability or control throughout the supply chain.

FHA 2024 was a wonderful place to network with importers and other interested parties who wanted to learn how wonderful European beef from Spain is, all while tasting delicious dishes that highlighted all its qualities!
