Two Michelin-Starred Chefs Showcase Exclusive Recipes and Tas- tings to Present the Excellence of EUROPEAN BEEF

Provacuno, the inter-professional association for Spanish beef, will be exhibiting at FOO- DEX JAPAN 2025 (11-14 March, venue: Tokyo Big Sight), the largest food and beverage exhibition in Asia. The event aims to promote and raise awareness of EUROPEAN BEEF in Japan under the European Union supported campaign “It’s time for EUROPEAN BEEF”.

Live Cooking & Workshops by Michelin-Starred Chefs

At FOODEX JAPAN 2025, two Michelin-starred chefs will be present at the PROVACUNO booth.

They will showcase succulent and refined EUROPEAN BEEF recipes during the Cooking Show (March 11–14) and Workshop (March 14).

It’s time for EUROPEAN BEEF Festival (March 10)

Ahead of FOODEX, PROVACUNO will host the “It’s time for EUROPEAN BEEF Festival” on March 10, an exclusive event for key stakeholders in the Japanese meat industry.

The event will feature the following programs:

  • Show Cooking & Beef Tasting by Michelin-Starred Chefs
  • Educational Talks on the European Production Model (EPM)
  • Networking Opportunities
 

The European Production Model (EPM) ensures that cattle are raised without antibiotics or growth hormones, while maintaining high standards of animal welfare and environ- mental sustainability.

This event will provide attendees with a unique opportunity to experience the safety, superior quality, and exceptional flavor of EUROPEAN BEEF.

PROVACUNO, the Spanish beef inter-professional association founded in 1997, is organizing multiple events as part of the “It’s Time for EUROPEAN BEEF Campaign.” This campaign, supported by the European Union (EU), focuses on ensuring traceability and animal welfare, emphasizing the safety, reliability, exceptional quality, and taste of beef produced in the EU and Spain. It is a three-year campaign running in Japan to promote the virtues of EUROPEAN BEEF, and this is the first year of activities carried out within the framework of this co-funded project. Through a networking event and participation at FOODEX exhibition, Provacuno is introducing high quality EUROPEAN BEEF to Japanese buyers, fostering new business opportunities and strengthening trade relations between Europe and Japan.
