The “It’s Time for European Beef” campaign’s European delegation participated from April 24th to 26th in Wofex Visayas 2025, the leading food fair held on the island of Cebu. This event brings together beef importers and distributors from all over the Philippines. During Wofex Visayas 2025, Provacuno representatives were able to meet not only with beef importers and distributors, but also with the general Filipino public, to whom they presented the characteristics of European beef. Filipino attendees also had the opportunity to taste recipes prepared by Michelin-starred chef Kisko García and to personally experience the tenderness and superior flavors of European beef from Spain.
These events are a great opportunity for Filipino beef importers and distributors to gain a better understanding of the beef sector and the quality standards followed in the European Union.
In the coming months, Provacuno will organize more activities for Filipino beef importers and distributors, such as a study trip to Spain, where Filipino entrepreneurs will visit farms and beef exporting companies to experience firsthand what the Provacuno delegation presented during their visit to the Philippines, with a special emphasis on the European Production Model.
